Ordering

Order online or via an appointment in our atelier based in currumbin, QLd. alternatively, contact us directly to place an order should you have any specific requests.

Each gown is made-to-order to your standard size and handcrafted in our Australian atelier. please keep in mind that alterations may be required to ensure the perfect fit and length. If you are between sizes, we always recommended sizing up to ensure alterations can be made to achieve the desired fit.

once your deposit is made, the fabric and trims will be ordered. Production of your gown begins immediately once your fabric is available.

deposit + Balance

We require a 50% deposit in order to confirm production of your piece.

Once your gown is completed, you will be invoiced the final 50%. Once we have received the balance, we will contact you for an appointment for collection. Alternatively, dispatch will be arranged with our nominated courier.

Lead Times

We pride ourselves on delivering our luxury gowns with a short lead time.

Please allow 12 weeks for production prior to dispatch. We recommend allowing a minimum of 4 weeks before your wedding for alterations with your selected trusted alterations business.


Domestic Shipping

Our gowns are carefully transported via our nominated couriers with tracking. Each gown will need to be signed for upon delivery.

International Shipping

We ship all over the world. Please contact us vua info@thefirstlast.com.au if your country is not available to be selected for delivery.

Returns

Returns

Our gowns are made to order and have a strict no return policy.
each piece goes through a meticulous, recorded quality check by our seamstresses and our owner to ensure there are no faults or damage prior to dispatch or collection.

change of mind/ Cancellation

We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind for any reason. Should you wish to cancel your order, you will forfeit your 50% deposit to cover the costs of the fabric, trims and workmanship that has already begun on your gown and your gown will remain with The First Last.
Alternatively, you can continue with production and we will send your order once the order balance is received.

Should you have any concerns regarding faults, please contact our team via info@thefirstlast.com.au with pictures and your order number.
to rectify your concerns your options may include either repair or fixing the concern in house, or for replacement with another gown made in our atelier.


Please note: in the rare event of a major fault, it will be dealt with in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

The First Last is not liable for any loss or damage suffered by you engaging in a third party for alterations , via shipping and transport or for damage or wear & tear sustained prior to, during, or after your wedding day.

We recommend professional dry cleaning by a trusted dry cleaner who specialises in wedding gowns cleaning immediately after your wedding day at the best attempt of removing any stains sustained on your wedding day.
